Info for College Reps:

Scheduling a Visit

EHS follows an unusual schedule system. Before calling our office, we recommend you view the EHS Weekly Schedule to find out what time the different periods are likely to be for the day of the week you wish to visit. Additionally, take a look at the College Counseling Calendar to find out if we have any times available on the date you would like to visit. Please keep in mind that the weekly schedule is subject to change to accommodate special all-school events.

To schedule a visit, please call Tena Ward in the College Counseling Office at 713-512-3450 or email her at tward@ehshouston.org with your preferred date and time range for your visit. When leaving a voice message, please speak slowly and clearly saying your name, school, and phone number at the beginning and end of your message in addition to your preferred visit date and time.

If you have a confirmation letter or poster you wish to send us, please address it to:

On the Day of Your Visit

If you are using any sort of online mapping system or GPS, keep in mind that EHS is located in the city of Bellaire, Texas (not Houston). View Directions to Campus for directions and to download a campus map. Please enter campus through Entrance Gate 1 off of Bissonnet. You will likely be stopped at the guardhouse to have your driver's license scanned and a Visitor Pass created.

Park in the South Ellipse in one of the visitor parking spaces closest to the Convent building entrance or in an unmarked (i.e., non-reserved) space. Please check in at the reception desk in the Convent building and get a visitors badge if you did not receive one at the guardhouse. You do not need a parking permit. The College Counseling Office is located on the west side the Convent Building on the first floor.

High Schools Near EHS

Please keep in mind that traffic in Houston can be unpredictable, especially if your travel takes you on a freeway or highway. We recommend that you give yourself at least 30 minutes to get to the schools within 5 miles of EHS and up to an hour for schools closer to 10 miles. You will probably not want to visit schools more than 10 miles away on the same day that you visit EHS unless you have plenty of extra travel time between schools.
