SOS (Students of Service)
Students of Service (SOS) is the community service organization at Episcopal High School, headed each year by a dedicated group of students and faculty sponsors.
To join our leadership team for the 2018-2019 school year please fill out the application by Friday, March 23, 2018.
SOS exists to encourage and facilitate the EHS community in living significant lives through service to others. Our aim is to educate the EHS community about the needs present both within our community and in the broader Houston community, and to inspire students to develop a lifelong passion for service.
WHAT: We will be serving lunch to women at the Star of Hope shelter. Come and help us serve up some Christmas cheer!
> This project is part of SOS's year-long partnership with

We will be part of an effort to produce food boxes for those in need in our community. Last year, we completed just over 6,000 boxes (ministered to over 6,000 families!). We are hoping to exceed last year's goal to make an impact on our community!
Parents drop off freshmen starting at 7:30 a.m. at the drop-off entrance. We will meet them there. At 12:00, freshmen need to be picked up at the same "drop-off" point following the class picture.
Dress code for safety: Close-toed shoes, t-shirts, no yoga pants, and shorts (without holes) that provide good coverage - you will be picking things up and carrying things. EHS T-shirts are strongly encouraged, but not required.

Freshman Service Day is one of three whole-class events for incoming freshmen to capture the EHS spirit! Freshman Retreat, Freshman Service Day, and Arts Day Houston are the big three . . . and all of them are important aspects of experiencing the EHS community and culture.
Blessings to all as we work together to make a difference in the surrounding community!
