Auction Underwriting Letters Mailed This Week
Be on the lookout for your Auction Underwriting letter – this is your ticket to Auction night! Underwriters receive acknowledgement in all Auction publications and invitations as well as preferred seating at the Auction. Beat the rush and register now online or mail your underwriter reply card (enclosed with your underwriting letter) to the Auction Office. The deadline to register is Monday, December 11, 2017.

Moms in Prayer Meet Each Friday in the Alumni Room of Hildebrand Athletic Center

All EHS moms are invited to join Moms in Prayer each Friday for prayer and fellowship. The group meets at 8:30 a.m. in the Alumni Center on the third floor of the new Hildebrand Athletic Center. 

December's Mid-Year Exams and Fall Semester Finals are Canceled
The School will forego mid-year exams and fall semester finals in December to capture the instructional days lost to our Hurricane Harvey closure earlier this year.
Monday, December 11 through Wednesday, December 20--which would have been review and exam days--will become regular school days with a 3:15 p.m. dismissal and may include unit tests, writing assignments, and quizzes.
The last day of school before our holiday break is Wednesday, December 20. Dismissal is at 3:15 p.m. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding. Thank you!

Beloved Tradition:  Grandparents Day Returns on November 17
Invitations to Grandparent Day are in the mail! If the School does not have your grandparents' current information, please email Rasa Starkey or visit the Grandparents Census Form. If you would like to donate Chapel Flowers in honor of your grandparents, contact Rasa Starkey or complete the Chapel Flowers Form online. Please make your pledge/donation for flowers by October 30.

Deadlines Fast Approaching to Sign Up for Interim Term Trips to Disney and Costa Rica

Disney Imagineering Trip

This is the last week to register for the 2018 Interim Term Disney Imagineering Trip. The deposit of $700 is due by Tuesday, October 25. The trip is open to 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students. The trip is from Tuesday, January 16 to Saturday, January 20, 2018. Questions should be directed to Isaiah Coleman or Pat Michael.

Costa Rica

Seniors - Are you planning to apply for financial aid in college? The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) opened on October 1. Be sure to get your FSA ID before completing your FAFSA online. For more detailed information, please visit our "Paying for College" page in Counseling Connections.
SAT Reminder - Seniors, you can still register for the November 4 SAT test with a late fee until this Wednesday, October 25. For students affected by Hurricane Harvey and experiencing hardship and/or displacement, the College Board will offer a free November SAT registration and a CSS Profile fee waiver through October 25. Please contact SAT Customer Service at 866-756-7346 or CSS Profile Customer Service at 844-202-0524.
ACT Reminder - Seniors, this is your last chance to test for the fall college application deadlines. Register today for the December ACT before the Nov. 3 deadline.
Georgetown University Prospective Student Information Session – Interested sophomores, juniors and seniors should make plans to attend the Georgetown Information Session hosted by EHS this upcoming Saturday, October 28, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Hildebrand Athletic Center, Alumni Room (located on the 3rd floor).
