Traditional Fall Events Raise Spirits, Showcase EHS Talent
Come join the EHS Music Department as they celebrate the Halloween season with spooktacular musical performances, fun costumes, and of course…snacks!
Tomorrow's Hauntcert begins promptly at 6:00 p.m. in Benitez Chapel. The concert features performances from the EHS Chorale, Orchestra, and Band. This is a great way to get the night started and set the Halloween mood, before heading out for tricks and treats or settling in to watch Justin Verlander strike terror in the hearts of a certain West Coast baseball team! Also, don't forget to drop by the Band Hall today after school to experience the magnificent Interact Club Haunted House. All proceeds benefit Hurricane Harvey relief efforts and the Rotary Club International's efforts to eradicate polio. The haunted house is open after school from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and middle school friends and siblings are invited. In more Arts Pillar action, next weekend brings our Fall Dance Concert, "EHS on the Town," at Matchbox 2 on Main Street. Professional choreographers and EHS faculty have staged impressive works for our student dancers. Performances are Friday, November 3 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, November 4 at 1:00 p.m., and Sunday, November 5 at 2:00 p.m. All performances are at MATCH - Midtown Arts Center on 3400 Main Street.
