Welcome Back to EHS and Interim Term
Welcome back to school! The semester kicks off tomorrow with enrichment opportunities in and out of the classroom. Underclassmen will participate in Grade Level Learning and Interim Term, and the seniors are working throughout the Houston area for Senior Outreach, where they give back to the community by volunteering in schools and nonprofits.

Note:  Students are expected to wear appropriate dress during Interim Term. Jeans and EHS-themed shirts are OK. No leggings, cut-offs, tank  tops or hats (indoors).  All students were emailed guidelines.  Thank you!

Grades Will be Posted at Noon on January 9

Grades for the 2nd Quarter will be posted tomorrow, January 9, at noon via EHS Parent Central/My Backpack.

January Notes from College Counseling

The College Counseling offices have moved! While we will miss being in the Convent with the administration and staff, we are blessed to move into our spacious new offices on the second floor above Crum Gym in the old weight room. Please come by to visit us!

Sophomores and Juniors - PSAT scores were released on Tuesday, December 12. You should have received an email directly from College Board. For more information on how to understand your scores or to link your College Board account to Khan Academy for test preparation, please check out the videos posted on Counseling Connections under the tab, PSAT Information.

Juniors - It's time to get registered for the official February ACT.  The deadline is this Friday, January 12.

Worried about the cost of college? - The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) opened on October 1. Be sure to get your FSA ID here before completing your FAFSA online. Some schools require the 2018-2019 CSS/Financial Aid Profile (found here), which is available now. For detailed information, please visit our "Paying for College" tab in Counseling Connections.
Parents of the Class of 2019—Save the date for the upcoming College Night for the Class of 2019 on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. in Hildebrand Athletic Center, Alumni Room (3rd floor of the new building).
