College Counseling

At Episcopal High School, college advising is a top priority; in the past five years alone, we have sent 723 graduates to attend 167 colleges and universities. Our College Counseling Office is housed in spacious facilities containing four separate advising rooms, as well as a student information center, where students can use a wide variety of helpful resources.

Each year, juniors and seniors also have numerous opportunities to meet with the many college representatives who visit EHS. Last year, over 100 representatives from around the globe visited with our seniors. Our goal is to find several colleges and/or universities where a student will feel comfortable, both academically and socially. With so many places to choose from, the college search can seem quite overwhelming to students; therefore, we are here to assist them with the process and to help eliminate unnecessary stress.

Preparing for college admission starts as early as the freshman year. We have a College Counselor dedicated to underclassmen, advisors making sure that students are preparing for admission to competitive colleges and universities.  Beginning in the sophomore year, we work with our students on a more individual basis, helping them narrow their choices.
