Mathematics Department

Believing that each student can be successful in mathematics and that each student ought to be comfortably challenged to achieve his or her full mathematical potential, the Mathematics Department provides a wide variety of college-preparatory courses from Algebra One to AP Calculus AB and AP Statistics; small class sizes; daily tutorials; technology-rich instruction; and talented, compassionate, and enthusiastic teachers. Our teachers are deeply committed to on-going professional development and to the use of innovative teaching methods and curriculum. We aim to inspire and nurture in each student a love for learning and to prepare him or her for a lifetime of learning, critical thinking, and responsible citizenship.
