Director of Educational Technology-Archive


The Director of EducationalTechnology will provide technical assistance and instruction to the faculty in support of the laptop program at EHS. Specifically, the responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Be responsible for the leadership, development, and coordination of effective uses of educational technology with students and faculty.
  • Support training and guidance with the website portal, online grading tools, current LMS and SIS, along with educational software and cloud-based platforms.
  • Be familiar with best practices for educational technology and stay current with opportunities that better facilitate learning and improve student outcomes using appropriate technological resources.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support for Tech Mentors.
  • Create and promote opportunities that encourage collaborative learning.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Institutional Technology.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 2+ years of experience in working in technology and teaching at the high school level
  • Proficiency in working with multiple platforms (Mac, Windows…), peripheral devices, MS Office, and social media tools
  • Demonstrated willingness and ability to be patient, empathic, supportive, and service-oriented
  • Demonstrated ability and success in working independently and collaboratively
  • Demonstrated desire and ability to be creative and innovative
  • Solid oral and written communication skills
