Director of Institutional Technology-ARCHIVE

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations, the Director of Institutional Technology will direct and coordinate the development and activities of the school's digital information systems. Specifically, the responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the school 's technology plan.
  • Analyze the computer system needs for management information and functional operations, determine scope and priorities of projects, and manage system capacity and equipment acquisitions.
  • Manage technical budgets, allocate resources, and determine appropriate project schedules.
  • Manage the overall acquisition of hardware and software. Maintain accurate inventories. Establish guidelines for sharing equipment campus-wide.
  • Assist in the evaluation of hardware, software, and courseware for potential use in instructional or administrative areas.
  • Supervise and develop members of the Technology Department.
  • Provide leadership and direction for all website activities.
  • Collaborate with the pillar heads and the Director of Educational Technology in providing technical assistance and instruction to the faculty.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Ability to define problems and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in managing hardware and software specific to the school.
  • Pedagogical background to evaluate courseware for various classes.
  • Previous supervisory and budgetary experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with constituents from the entire school community.
