The Varsity Boys Lacrosse team earned a thrilling 17-15 win over SPC rival St. John's Friday night in front of a terrific crowd gathered to honor the senior class. The Knights broke open a close game in the second half and led 17-9 with minutes left in the game. The Mavericks scored six goals in the final few minutes to make for an exciting finish. The win moves the Knights record to 11-5.
In other athletic news, the Varsity Baseball team defeated Bellaire 3-2 on a beautiful Saturday afternoon game at EHS. Tres Organ '22, Adam Katz '23, and Paul Smith '22 each went 2-3 as the Knights jumped out to an early 3-0 lead. Katz earned the start on the mound and went 5.2 innings giving up 5 hits and 2 earned runs. Jordan Ross '23 earned the save with 1.1 innings of no-hit relief.
