Another Knight had the pleasure of hearing his name called in the NFL Draft as Donovan Jackson ’21 was selected by the Minnesota Vikings with the 24th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Jackson joins Jaylen Waddle ’18 as former Knights who were picked in the first round.

Jackson led the Ohio State Buckeyes to a national title this past season as the four-year starter played both offensive guard and tackle. Jackson is expected to play guard for the Vikings.

In addition to Jackson and Waddle, three other Knights have been chosen in the NFL draft. Quarterback Spurgeon Wynn was selected in the fifth round of the 2000 draft while offensive lineman Daniel Loper heard his name called in the fifth round of the 2005 draft. Offensive lineman Walker Little was picked in the second round of the 2021 draft.
