In April 2025, students enrolled in all-levels of Spanish courses at EHS took the National Spanish Exam earning well-deserved national recognition. In this year's competition, students from Episcopal High School secured a remarkable 12 gold, 35 silver, 28 bronze medals, and 106 honorable medals.

As part of EHS tradition, during Hispanic Heritage Month (HHM), we held two special events: an Award Ceremony honoring our students, and the HHM Chapel, where the awardees were recognized in front of the School community.

The ceremony was organized by the World Languages Department, the Spanish Honor Society, and the Spanish Club. Claudia Kechkian, AATSP Director of Exams, provided a brief explanation of the exam and encouraged the award-winning students to continue working on improving their Spanish to gain a deeper understanding of the different cultures of the Spanish-speaking world.
