EHS recently held the Bishop Benitez Chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) spring induction and senior recognition ceremony. As a testament to the exceptional academic curriculum and our hard-working students, 87 juniors were inducted and 75 seniors were recognized.

Juniors who met the 3.7-grade point average threshold and completed four or more service hours per semester since their freshman year were inducted. Seniors were recognized for upholding those standards.

NHS is an organization that recognizes excellence in academic success. It fosters leadership within its membership and celebrates service as a tangible aspect of character and morality. EHS members support The Beacon’s homeless services in Houston. Throughout the school year, students collect toiletries to deliver to the non-profit organization.

You’ll find a list of recent inductees and seniors below. Congratulations to all our students.

The chapter will hold officer elections in March.
