The historic 2023-24 athletic year concluded Saturday in Dallas as the Knights added three more SPC Championship trophies to the display case. The Softball team began an exciting day of events with a 5-1 win over Kinkaid in the 4A title game. The victory gave the program their seventh straight championship and twenty-second in school history. The Knights earned their spot in the championship game with a thrilling 5-3 semifinal win over St. John’s.

The Girls and Boys Track and Field teams were up next and both teams put on a show in front of a tremendous crowd at Greenhill. The girls team earned 205.5 points in the two-day event, besting second place Hockaday by 78.5 points. Not to be outdone, the boys team totaled 208.5 points, 61.5 points better than runner-up John Cooper.

The Baseball team made yet another appearance in the 4A Championship game after earning a thrilling 2-1 win over Kinkaid in the semifinal. The Knights dropped a 6-4 decision to a very talented St. John’s squad, who avenged a regular season loss to the Knights just a few weeks ago.

Both the Girls and Boys Tennis teams played terrific tennis all weekend and look to carry that momentum into the 2024-2025 season.

In other athletic news, the Girls Lacrosse team defeated Rockwall 11-10 to earn a spot in the TGHSLL Division II State Final Four. The Knights will face Lovejoy Saturday, May 11, at Friendswood High School. The Boys Lacrosse team gave Austin High School all they could handle before falling 12-10 in the THSLL Class A Super Regionals.

Congratulations to all our spring season athletes and coaches!
