The spring athletic season concludes this weekend as the SPC championship tournaments return to Houston. The softball team defeated Houston Christian 11-1 Friday evening to complete another undefeated regular season and clinch the #1 seed in the south zone. The Knights receive a first round bye and play their first tournament game on Friday at 9:00 a.m. at Baseball USA. The Girls Lacrosse team earned the #3 seed in the south zone and face ESD at 10:00 a.m. Friday in the first round of their tournament at Kinkaid. The baseball team split a pair of games vs. St. John's and Kinkaid this past weekend and posted a 5-1 record in the south zone. This earned the Knights the #2 seed and a first-round bye. The Knights first game will take place at 12:30 p.m. Friday afternoon at St. John's. Both the Boys and Girls Track and Field teams begin their two-day championship meets Friday morning at Awty International.

The Boys Lacrosse team traveled to Austin this past weekend for their SPC championship tournament. The Knights rebounded from an opening loss to St. Mark's by defeating Kinkaid 15-10 in the consolation final. The Knights will face Memorial this week in the third place game of the city championships.
