The Service Achievement Program is a year-long concentration within Students of Service, designed to allow particularly interested students to take a deeper dive into service. The program includes learning, leading, teaching, reflecting, and serving.

89 students applied last August to participate in the Service Achievement Program. Over the year, they worked in teams to study an area of need and create a video to teach our school about it; they undertook a self-paced curriculum in Canvas to learn about service needs in the Houston area, they helped organize the EHS Day of Service in February, and they engaged in service, logging hours across a designated variety of areas of need: animal welfare, education, environment, health, homelessness, hunger, poverty, and senior citizens.
