This year, EHS had a record number--more than 50 students--win local and regional Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. Regional winners advanced to the national level, and these winners were announced before spring break. The Media Arts Department recently learned that Brynn Anderson '21 earned a Scholastic National Gold Medal for her photograph titled "Way Down." And the English Department learned that seniors Anabel Kirton and Anna Moise both earned National Silver Medals. Kirton won for her Flash Fiction piece, "Bitter Almonds." Moise won for her short story "An Amber Astrolabe."

A ceremony is planned to honor national winners in June in Carnegie Hall. Congratulations, Knights!
