EHS is proud to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of the student participants in the Service Achievement Program. This academic year the group logged more than 2,100 hours of service, volunteered at more than 115 nonprofit organizations, and made an economic impact average of $60,000.

In its inaugural year, the Service Achievement Program is an optional year-long program designed to motivate students to participate in service projects, take on leadership roles, and learn more about the service needs across Houston. Seniors who complete the program are represented by a special cord worn at graduation.

In March students organized and executed the first-ever community-wide EHS Day of Service hosted at the Houston Food Bank for all EHS students, families, faculty, and staff to attend.
