The EHS Varsity Baseball team picked up two SPC wins last week to move their SPC record to 4-0 with counters looming against St. John's and Kinkaid. The Knights began the week with an impressive 11-0 home win against Houston Christian and ended the week with a solid 6-1 road win at John Cooper. In the matchup with the Mustangs of Houston Christian, Paul Smith '22 earned the win on the mound as the senior right-hander went 5 innings, striking out 10. Tres Organ '22 and Adam Katz '23 each tallied two hits with Katz's two home runs accounting for four RBIs. In Thursday's win at John Cooper, Jordan Ross '23 pitched three innings and struck out four Dragons. Adam Katz earned the win with two innings of two-hit relief. The Knights host St. John's on Friday night and Kinkaid Saturday afternoon to close out the regular season.

In other athletic news, the Varsity Softball team remains unbeaten in SPC play as the Knights defeated Kinkaid 5-2 Thursday afternoon. The Knights face Duchesne and Houston Christian this week to close out the regular season. Both the Girls and Boys Track and Field teams finished second at the Nick Finnegan Invitational at St. John's this past weekend.
