We are pleased to announce that after an active and productive year, the 2025-26 EHS Student Council, advised by Mrs. Courtney Lindloff, has been recognized once again as a top council both statewide and nationally. In February 2026, the StuCo officers completed annual reports detailing what the council had accomplished from March 1, 2025 to Feb 28, 2026 in four reporting categories, along with an Outstanding Report, totaling over 20 pages of project, event, and operations documentation. For the 13th consecutive year, StuCo exceeded expectations in all areas set by the Texas Association of Student Councils and has been recognized as a Sweepstakes School.

Additionally, last month the School was notified that, once again, for the 13th consecutive year, the council was awarded the National Gold Council of Excellence Award from the National Association of Student Councils, the highest award a council can receive. Continuing the tradition of high performance, high-quality events and service, and building community, this year’s officers met the goals they had set for themselves.

This success places the council in the top 1% of councils, not only in Texas, but nationally!

A few fun facts about the 2025-26 Student Council:

o   There are two 4-year officers - Palmer Popov and Mimi Bogart

o   Henry Branch, outgoing Student Body Parliamentarian, is the third child from his family to serve as a student body officer (The Branch family has had three out of three children serve in this capacity; Jillian was Student Body President and four-year officer, and Elise was Parliamentarian and class officer)

o   Reede Robinson, current and re-elected Student Body Secretary, will be our second two-year secretary as his predecessor, Adam Choi, also served in this office for two years.

o   The Senate had its largest-ever membership this year with 280 members.

o   The recent Dude Be Nice Week was EHS's tenth year of hosting this event to promote kindness and gratitude.

Abundant thanks to the 2025-26 EHS Student Council and advisor, Mrs. Courtney Lindloff, for her heartfelt and productive service to the School!
