Teacher Courtney Lindloff Nominated for Prestigious Award

Director of Student Activities Courtney Lindloff is one of seven educators in the U.S. nominated for the Dr. Earl Reum Award by the National Association of Workshop Directors. Dr. Reum was a renowned speaker and writer who trailblazed the establishment of student leadership programs throughout North America.

As the Region 8 nominee, Lindloff will be recognized during the general session of the National Conference on Student Activities in Atlanta, Georgia, on Friday evening, November 30. She and the other honorees will be called to the stage and presented a plaque. The ceremony concludes with the naming of the 2018 National Dr. Earl Reum Award winner.

"This is one of the greatest honors a Student Council Advisor/Activities Director can receive," says Lindloff. "I'm incredibly honored, grateful, and humbled to be recognized by my peers and mentors for this award. Previous award winners helped me learn and hone my skills, and I look forward to applying all this knowledge to support EHS Student Activities."

Jim Finnemeyer, the Executive Director of the Association of Workshop Directors explains, "Each of the regional nominees is an individual that Earl Reum would be proud to see on stage representing the various regions of the nation. Each continues to make great contributions to the advisors in their states and in the nation. Many student leaders are impacted by all the resources, advice, and motivation these nominees provide to them."
