EHS offensive linemen Donovan Jackson, Cullen Montgomery, and Luis Chavarria signed national letters of intent during Wednesday's NCAA Football Signing Day. The three seniors were honored during the school's Signing Day Celebration held in the Alumni Room of the Hildebrand Athletic Center.
Jackson, the nation's #1 ranked guard and the #2 ranked player in the state of Texas, made his commitment to Ohio State official. Jackson was recently named as a finalist for the Anthony Munoz Award which is given annually to the top high school offensive lineman in the country.
Montgomery, a 4-star prospect and one of the top-ranked tackles in the state, signed with Oklahoma. Montgomery committed to the Sooners early in the year and served as a main recruiter for what many consider the top-rated class in the Big 12.
Chavarria, ranked by VYPE and the Houston Chronicle as one of the top interior linemen in the city, selected Prairie View A&M. Chavarria, who played all three line positions as a four-year starter for the Knights, will push for immediate playing time for the Panthers.
