Varsity Football Defeats Legacy 38-26

In a rare Saturday afternoon football game, the Knights used an impressive second-half effort on both sides of the ball to defeat Legacy Sports Science 38-26. Senior quarterback Tres Organ accounted for three Knight touchdowns, two through the air and another on the ground, as the Knight offense got things rolling in their final non-SPC matchup. Sophomore tailback Ty Blevins had a big day carrying the ball and added two touchdowns of his own to the scoring effort. The Knight defense buckled down in the second half and forced key stops at opportune times. The Knights have an open weekend before hosting ESD in the first SPC game of the season on Oct. 1st at 7:00 p.m.
