Publications
Study in the Student Publications Program focuses on the creation of the school yearbook The Hexagon, the newspaper The Knight Times, and video and audio production in various formats for KEHS News. The final products, generated through the program and provided to the EHS community, are merely the vehicles, though, as it is the destination that matters. Program courses teach students higher level thinking skills, prepare them to deal with stress, give them opportunities to work as a team, meet deadlines, problem solve, interview, write, shoot, design, and edit with the desired outcome of an exemplary source of school information. Classes are geared toward the process, how students engage and work together, and the level of responsibility they possess in their real-world role as journalists.
