At the Crane School of Music in The State University of New York at Potsdam, I took six semesters of courses from a brilliant professor. He would hear something and use it as an opportunity to make relevant points in class. I try to do the same in my wellness classes. I strive to influence the students to adopt habits that can be beneficial over the course of their lives. If they can relate and find motivation, perhaps they will leave my class with the desire to exercise in the future—and enjoy it.
