Parent Volunteer Opportunities

EHS is committed to the health and well-being of the students entrusted to our care, and our campus is a place where students are safe and treated with respect and dignity. To that end, and in keeping with diocesan requirements, parent volunteers who assist six or more times a year must be certified in Safeguarding God’s Children, a training designed for the prevention of child sexual abuse. Academic Recognition
Committee volunteers putting up Academic Honor, Effort, and Climb recognition Flyers on student lockers after Honors Chapel (Fall & Spring)

Afternoon Spirit Treats
Committee volunteers serving students various treats every other Wednesday after school.

Care Committee
Committee volunteers provide support and care for the EHS Community when called upon.

Christmas Décor
Committee volunteers decorate several areas around campus at Christmas time reflecting the spirit of the season.

Cookie Break Moms
Committee volunteers serve students cookies during break every day.

Concessions (Freshman Parents Only)
Volunteering for concessions (Simmons & Alkek) during the Fall, Winter, and Spring Athletic Seasons.

Faculty & Staff Appreciation
Several times during the school year, committee volunteers provide for special events for our Faculty and Staff.

H.A.N.D.S. (Handling Anything Needed During the School year)
Committee volunteers help with mass mailing and collating of material when needed by the school.

Hospitality and Cookies
Committee volunteers provide sweet treats for several special events throughout the year.

Luncheons & Special Events
Committee volunteers help set-up luncheons and events during the year.

Moms in Prayer
Committee meets on campus on Friday’s during the school year to offer blessings and prayers for the entire Episcopal Community.

Mentor Moms
Committee helps with the “On Boarding” of new family’s during their first year at EHS.

Staff Relief Volunteers
Committee volunteers relieve the Convent Receptionist during her lunch hour.

Volunteer Rally Committee
This event welcomes new parents to EHS and provides volunteer sign-up opportunities for the above committees.
