Annual Fund Donations Impact Lives and Unlock Student Potential

At EHS, we're experts at helping students discover what they're capable of and passionate about. Our curriculum, the Four Pillars, stretches students in bold new directions--academically, artistically, athletically, and spiritually. Each day, our students enjoy small, intense classes, where they are challenged to think, rethink, and create. To look at and learn about things a little differently. The Annual Fund impacts every student in every classroom this school year. Please make your gift or pledge today. The Annual Fund concludes Friday, October 27.

October Parent Forum Focuses on Building a Practice of Empathy and Kindness

What is relational aggression (RA)? Answer:  A behavior that goes beyond a conflict and intends to hurt someone by harming relationships with others.

Examples of RA:
- intimidating others via bullying or cyberbullying
- forming cliques to exclude or ostracize others
- spreading rumors or engaging in gossip

Having an awareness of this behavior is the first step to addressing RA, in addition to practicing empathy and kindness with our kids.

To learn more, please join us for the Choices October Parent Forum:

December's Mid-Year Exams and Fall Semester Finals are Canceled
The School will forego mid-year exams and fall semester finals in December to capture the instructional days lost to our Hurricane Harvey closure earlier this year.
Monday, December 11 through Wednesday, December 20--which would have been review and exam days--will become regular school days and may include unit tests, writing assignments, and quizzes.
The last day of school before our holiday break is Wednesday, December 20. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding. Thank you!
