Spring Semester Off to a Strong Start
Surely this has been a remarkable year for Houston weather events!
With the recent ice storm claiming two days of Interim Term, we considered the options for make-up days but have decided not to make changes to the academic calendar. Having reclaimed the eight missed instructional days from Hurricane Harvey by foregoing December review and exam days, the School's academic leadership recommended moving forward with the start of second semester on Monday, January 22, as planned, rather than extending Interim Term, a program of enrichment, into the spring semester. All fingers are crossed that the months ahead will be smooth sailing!
-- Nancy Eisenberg, Assistant Head of School/Principal
