Learn More About Your Student's Courses and Teachers at Back to School Knight on Thursday, 9/6

Faculty and staff look forward to welcoming all parents on Thursday evening at Back to School Knight, from 5:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.

Please pick up your student's schedule in Crum Lobby 5:45 p.m., attend a short program in Alkek Gym and meet your student's teachers. Afterward, join us for a reception in Scurlock Gym.  We look forward to seeing you there!

New Choices Counselor Supports Student Health
Mary Secrest joins our Faculty and Staff this year as the new Choices Counselor. Secrest is a Licensed Master Social Worker and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern.  She is an employee of the Council on Recovery and has an office on campus where she can provide counseling services to EHS students and their families. Secrest will also be implementing the Choices curriculum throughout the year, which includes lining up speakers, presentations, and other events to educate the EHS community about high-risk behavior. "I am so impressed with EHS and the efforts to provide students and their families comprehensive programming about high-risk behaviors as well as a safe, confidential place for them to go when they need help, " says Secrest. Senior Parents: Join Us Tonight for Senior Parent College Night at 7:00 p.m.

Senior Parents - Please join us tonight, Tuesday, September 4, at 7:00 p.m., in the Alumni Room of the new Hildebrand Athletic Center. We look forward to welcoming you back.
Senior Conferences are in full swing! Seniors may schedule their conferences with College Counseling today by emailing their college counselor. (Senior conferences are for students only.)

Senior Application Workshops begin this week on Wednesday immediately after school in the College Counseling Office on the 2nd floor of Crum Field House.
Seniors SAT/ACT Date - There is still time to register with a late fee for  before September 26. If you are planning to take the October ACT, register today before the September 28 deadline.

Junior Parents/Guardians - Save the date for the upcoming "The Importance of Junior Year" sessions on Wednesday, September 19. Two sessions will be offered:  Coffee & Conversations for Junior Parents at 8:00 a.m. in Anderson Lecture Hall and an afternoon session immediately after school at 2:45 p.m. in the Hildebrand Athletic Center Alumni Room.
