Parent Forum: Faith and Families

Parents are invited to join us for lunch and learning at the first of our Parent Forum series, this Wednesday at 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. in the Hildebrand Alumni Center. Our topic this month is "Faith, Families, and the High School Student": How to parent a child through doubts, drifts, exploration, and mountaintop moments. Dean of Spiritual Life Beth Holden, Choices Counselor Mary Secrest, and School Psychologist Beth Fowler will consider the role of faith in families, in health and wholeness, and in adolescent development.

If you are considering psycho-educational testing for your student to qualify for SAT/ACT accommodations and an education plan, please contact Director of Academic Assistance Jenny Cantrell for a list of EHS-approved evaluators.

Junior Parents, Please Join Us on September 19

Junior Parents/Guardians - Save the date for next week's "The Importance of Junior Year" sessions on Wednesday, September 19. Two sessions will be offered: Coffee & Conversations for Junior Parents at 8:00 a.m. in Anderson Lecture Hall and an afternoon session immediately after school at 2:45 p.m. in the Hildebrand Athletic Center Alumni Room.
Senior Conferences are in full swing! Seniors may schedule their conferences with College Counseling today by emailing their college counselor. (Senior conferences are for students only.)

Senior Application Workshops continue this Wednesday immediately after school in the College Counseling Office on the 2nd floor of Crum Field House.
Seniors SAT/ACT Date - There is still time to register with a late fee for  before September 26. If you are planning to take the October ACT, register today before the September 28 deadline.
