"Derby Knight" Auction Tickets are Still Available!

If you haven't purchased your Auction ticket, it's not too late! We hope you can join in on the fun. The deadline for acknowledgement in the Auction invitation has passed, but you will still be able to register to attend Auction night, and your name will be listed in the Auction night catalog and other Auction publications.

Academics: Interim Term Courses Begin Tomorrow
The spring semester kicks off tomorrow with enrichment opportunities in and out of the classroom. Underclassmen will participate in Grade Level Learning and Interim Term, and the seniors are volunteering throughout the Houston area for Senior Outreach, where they give back to the community by helping at area schools and nonprofits. For a list of this year's Interim Term and Grade Level Learning classes, click here.

Note:  Students are expected to wear appropriate dress during Interim Term. Jeans and EHS-themed shirts are OK. No leggings, cut-offs, tank  tops or hats (indoors).  All students received guidelines via email.  Thank you!

Fall Semester Grades: Parents should be able to view all final grades for the fall semester by Thursday, January 10. Please access the Online Grade Book via EHS Parent Central.

Sophomores and Juniors—PSAT scores were released on Monday, December 10. You should have received an email directly from College Board once the scores were available. For more information on how to understand your scores or to link your College Board account to Khan Academy for test preparation, please check out the videos posted on Counseling Connections under the tab, PSAT Information.

Seniors, worried about the cost of college? - The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) opened on October 1. Be sure to get your FSA ID here before completing your FAFSA online. Some schools require the 2019-2020 CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE found here. Juniors - It's time to get registered for the official February ACT.  The deadline is this Friday, January 11.
Parents of the Class of 2020—Save the date for the upcoming College Night for the Class of 2020 on Tuesday, January 15, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. in Hildebrand Athletic Center, Alumni Room (3rd floor of the new building). We look forward to hearing from our guest speaker, Elena Hicks, Dean of Undergraduate Admission, Southern Methodist University.  Hicks will share her wealth of knowledge concerning the college search and application process. You don't want to miss this event!
