National Advocate Kyle Richard to Speak to Students and Parents on Preventing Sexual Assault
Tomorrow, March 19, Kyle Richard, current senior football captain at State University of New York-Cortland, will speak to the EHS community about preventing  sexual assault and domestic violence. Richard has won numerous awards, including the Biden Courage Award, in honor of his successful intervention that thwarted a sexual assault attempt at a 2017 house party. Despite incurring gunshot wounds during the intervention, Richard made a full recovery and became a vocal advocate for victims. The incident inspired him to launch a mission to promote active bystanders. Richard will speak to the students, faculty, and staff in the Underwood Theatre during Chapel/Advisory. He will conduct a Lunch & Learn with parents at noon in the Alumni Room on the 3rd floor of the Hildebrand Athletic Center. Read more about Richards' hero journey in this ESPN article.

College Counseling to Reschedule Coffee & Conversation with Junior Parents
Parents of Juniors - As a growing community, Episcopal strives to offer its parents intentional programming to help you support, encourage, and guide your student through their educational journeys on our campus. Due to the exciting new programming occurring this week, we are canceling our Coffee & Conversation for 11th Grade parents scheduled for this upcoming Tuesday morning. It's our hope that you'll take advantage of these new parent programs, and that you'll schedule your junior conference with Ms. Tena Ward soon to speak with us more intimately about your student's college search process.  We look forward to meeting with you soon.

Juniors - You still have time to register with a late fee for the April ACT before the deadline, March 25. Register soon for the upcoming May SAT before the April 5 deadline.
Course Placement and Registration - College Counseling, the Registrar, and the Academic Deans will be available Wednesday, March 27, Monday, April 1, and Tuesday, April 2 during both 5A and 5B lunch in Anderson Lecture Hall to help students with their 2019-2020 course selection. This is your student's opportunity to ask questions about choosing classes for next year.

Additional information and details can be found on our Counseling Connections page.
