Update Student Health Information for 2019-2020
The Magnus Health website, via EHS Parent Central, is now open for 2019-2020 enrollees. Please update your student's health information and answer all 14 questions. Now is the time to make appointments for annual check-ups, as forms must be completed by June 7, 2019. If the immunizations are current, you do not need to resubmit another vaccine record. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Connie Thomas, R.N.

CARE: Consent, Advocacy, and Refusal Skills Education Workshops Take Place 4/9 and 4/10
During advisory on April 9 and 10, all grades will participate in workshops involving bystander techniques and refusal skills with the Consent, Advocacy, and Refusal Skills Education initiative. As a school, we believe that students must continue to build awareness and a greater understanding about these areas to live lives of significance in service to others.
Conversations about bystander techniques and consent are not inherently about sex. Instead, they are about the worth and dignity of the individual, values deeply embedded in the Christian faith and the mission of EHS. Through these workshops, we will continue to give our students the skills and knowledge they will need to assertively say "no" to behaviors or actions they do not agree with or that harm others. We will teach them that when someone establishes a boundary, we must respect it in order to preserve the dignity of the person saying "no." We hope to imbue them with confidence and tools to prevent harassment and assault in their own lives as well as the lives of others. We will emphasize the importance of consent in healthy friendships, healthy dating relationships, and healthy sexual relationships.

Course Placement and Registration - College Counseling, the Registrar, and the Academic Deans will be available today, April 1, and Tuesday, April 2 during both 5A and 5B lunch in Anderson Lecture Hall to help students with their 2019-2020 course selection. This is your student's opportunity to ask questions about choosing classes for next year.
