Back-to-School Note from Principal Kim Randolph On behalf of our faculty and staff, I would like to welcome back our returning families, as well as our new families, to Episcopal High School. We have been busy preparing for the first day of the 2019-2020 school year and look forward to a fantastic year. Earlier this summer, Governor Abbott signed House Bill 1325 that legalizes the production, manufacture, retail sale, and inspection of industrial hemp crops and products, such as CBD, in Texas. We will be discussing this new law as well as other information in two sessions about our Drug Testing Program, the first on Wednesday, August 28, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the USC, and the second on Thursday, August 29, from noon to 1:00 p.m. in Anderson Lecture Hall. Each session will offer snacks and beverages. Read Principal Randolph's full letter here.
Safety First: Campus Visitors Must Register for New Raptor System to Ensure Security To update our 2019-2020 security database, we are asking all school-day visitors to stop at the Security Guard kiosks and register. The guard will scan the ID, print a new name badge, and each visitor will be automatically entered into the new Raptor database. For future visits, security will print badges before a visitor's scheduled meeting. Please allow an extra 15-30 minutes before meetings to complete this initial scan. We appreciate your patience as we update our security process. Thank you!
