National Expert Leads Discussion on Healthy Relationships & Student Safety - 10/22 Katie Koestner, national expert on healthy relationships and campus student safety, will speak to our community on Tuesday, October 22. Koestner will address the student and faculty/staff during Chapel and Advisory. She will conduct a Lunch-and-Learn with EHS parents at noon in the Hildebrand Athletic Center Alumni Room. College Counseling This Week: PSAT and Visual and Performing Arts Fair at Rice University Sophomores and Juniors - Please come rested and prepared for the PSAT this Wednesday, October 16. Bring pencils and a calculator, along with any outerwear to keep you warm--those gyms get cold! Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors Pursuing Art in College - Don't miss the Visual and Performing Arts Fair this Thursday, October 16, at 7:00 p.m. at Rice University, the Shepherd School of Music. We'd love to see a great EHS turnout! Seniors - If you are still working on your college applications (with that pesky November 1 deadline in mind) and want our expertise, assistance, and encouragement, please make plans to join us Wednesday, October 16, in the College Counseling offices. Seniors - If your student is planning to take the November 2 SAT, register now with a late fee until October 22. If your student is planning to take the December ACT, register before November 8. Seniors - Are you planning to apply for financial aid in college? You can begin by creating your FSA ID here and then start completing your FAFSA. Applications opened on October 1. Freshmen Explore Creative Arts Tomorrow All freshmen will gain hands-on experience in the arts during Arts Day EHS, 8:00 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, October 16. Students will rotate through four different arts courses, ranging from ceramics to music, film, dance, and more!
