Summer School Classes Move Forward with Virtual Offerings; Athletics Camps TBD Calling All Knights! With the uncertainty of the upcoming summer months and the cancellation of many summer plans, EHS will be expanding our Summer Programs beginning June 1 with all classes conducted virtually. Unfortunately, athletic summer camps are on hold; if possible, we will try to reschedule for July. We have added additional semester credit courses--Astronomy, Beginning Dance, Chinese History and Culture, and Computer Music--and a large selection of enrichment classes for enlightenment and fun, including cooking, birdwatching, acting, sci-fi, and ragtime to rock and roll. Virtual credit courses will be offered in the mornings with 60 minutes of synchronous class time, 30 minutes of faculty office hours, and 45-75 minutes of asynchronous learning. Enrichment classes will be mornings and afternoons 55 minutes per day for one to four weeks, depending on the class. If you have already registered for credit classes, you're good to go. New registration for credit and enrichment will open on Tuesday, May 12 online. (Please note that some classes may not be offered if enrollment is insufficient.) We encourage all of you, rising freshmen through soon-to-be graduated seniors, to check out the offerings and sign up! Ride the Pequod with Mr. Mitchell, learn iPhone-ography with Mrs. Philbrick, dance with Ms. Burgess, release your inner drummer with Mr. Gould, go birding with Mrs. Foster... and much more. These classes are for EHS students only. If you have questions about academic courses, contact Isaiah Coleman or Cyndi Boren. For questions about sports camps, contact Amanda Watts.
