First Week of In-Person Learning Brings Cheer Our first week of in-person learning brought the welcome buzz of student laughter and teacher cheer back to campus. The key to success and continuation of in--person classes will be wearing masks, washing hands, and practicing social distancing. The instructions are provided on the COVID-19 page:

Annual Fund Launches! Benefits Every Knight! Each year with the start of school, the EHS Annual Fund is launched to fill the 10% of our school budget that is not covered by tuition. The annual fund enables us to be prepared to incur expenses as the new school year unfolds and new demands arise. We have until Friday, October 16, to strive toward our goal. Please join our existing donors and make a gift or pledge. Mark Calendars for Virtual RPSDT Session The annual Random Plus Student Drug Testing (RPSDT) Virtual Parent Information Session is September 24. Join Associate Head of School Nancy Eisenberg to learn details about EHS's drug testing program. Guest speaker is the Menninger Clinic's Dr. John O'Neill. Dr. O'Neill directs the Bellaire Outpatient Clinic. The virtual information session will air at 6:00 p.m., and the link to join is here.
Parent Forum Explores the Spring of Unrest Please join us on Wednesday, September 23, at noon for our second Parent Forum held through Teams Live. The presentation will explore "How Did We Get Here? Complete Checklist for College Financial Aid Seniors - Are you planning to apply for financial aid in college? You can begin by creating your FSA ID here and then start completing your FAFSA October 1. Be sure to visit our "Paying for College" page on Counseling Connections for more detailed information. Senior Conferences - Conferences are going well! Schedule your conference via MS Teams with College Counseling by emailing your college counselor or by clicking on the Calendly link posted in the College Counseling - Class of 2021 Teams group. (Senior conferences are for students only.) Seniors and Juniors - Here is a recommended workshop series designed to prepare juniors and seniors for their college search and application process. Sessions are for high school juniors and seniors, with session options for parents and mentors in the evening. Coordinated through Davidson College, each workshop has been designed by a team which may consist of Davidson admissions staff, partners from other institutions, and high school counseling colleagues. The goal is to provide information in a broad scope that will serve participants regardless of where they apply.
Campus Store Stocks Knight-Branded Masks Show your Knight spirit and care for others at the same time! The Campus Store sells EHS masks--get them while supplies last. Now that students have returned to campus, the Campus Store has opened its doors with strict guidelines to keep the number of students in the store to a minimum. The store will accept orders via email, bag them, and have orders ready for pickup inside the store. Please see the Campus Store section of the EHS website under Campus Life. There you will see a post of the school supplies we offer, along with an order form. Fill out the order form and email it as an attachment to campusstore@ehshouston.org.
