Grade Level Dean Meetings -Tune in tomorrow night, 9/22, for parent meetings with your student's Grade Level Dean. Mark Calendars for Virtual RPSDT Session The annual Random Plus Student Drug Testing (RPSDT) Virtual Parent Information Session is September 24. Join Associate Head of School Nancy Eisenberg to learn details about EHS's drug testing program. Guest speaker is the Menninger Clinic's Dr. John O'Neill. Parent Forum Explores the Spring of Unrest Please join us on Wednesday, September 23, at noon for our second Parent Forum held through Teams Live. The presentation will explore "How Did We Get Here? Formal Photos Scheduled for 9/24-9/25; Formal Uniforms Required Both Days Formal photos will take place during English classes on both Thursday and Friday, September 24-25. Schedule Change for 10/6; Checklist for College Financial Aid Senior School Day ACT - To accommodate this on-campus test for seniors, Tuesday, October 6, will be a virtual at-home day for students, and Wednesday, October 7, will be a normal Tuesday schedule. Seniors registered for the School Day ACT will be the only students on campus on Tuesday, October 6. Seniors Registered for the School Day SAT - Please come rested and prepared for the SAT this Wednesday, September 23. Bring pencils and a calculator with you, along with any outer wear to keep you warm as those gyms can get cold! Please check in at 7:30 a.m. in Scurlock Gym. Seniors and Juniors - One of the positives that has emerged from the pandemic is the wealth of knowledge our college partners are sharing via webinars. If you are curious about the dreaded college essay, here is a seminar that should be worth tuning in to: Tuesday, September 29, 7 p.m.: UChicago Personal Statement Session. The personal statement is a common requirement of applications to many US colleges and universities. During this session they will review some basic do's and don'ts, share insight into how personal statement essays can add an important perspective to your application, and explain how essays are considered in a holistic review process.

EHS offers on-campus private student lessons in piano, voice, strings, guitar, woodwinds, brass, and more. Master teachers from the Houston area are eager to take on new students.
