EHS families have helped this organization for decades. If you have the means to help, please consider hosting a teacher this summer. Homestay families house the teachers for eight weeks. This year the dates are from June 5 through August 4, 2022. - If you have any questions or can help out, please email or call Breakthrough Houston's Kathy Heinzerling at 281-435-4791.

- NACAC Virtual College Fairs: Students can sign up for free at www.nacacattend.org/fairs. The NACAC Virtual STEM Fair is Thursday, February 24. Please use the following link: https://www.nacacattend.org/fairs/session/741290/stem-virtual-college-fair .
- Virtual Gap Year fairs are still available. Plan on attending one of these fairs if you are interested in learning the ins and outs of planning a meaningful gap year, navigating the college deferral process, and tips for choosing programs and experiences that appeal to your student.
- Parents / Guardians of the Class of 2023 - Before Junior Conferences can be scheduled, parents/guardians must complete a Brag Sheet. You will have the option to submit upon completion or to save and return later. Please be thoughtful and thorough in your responses as this will serve as the framework for the recommendation letter we compose for your child. Brag Sheets submitted electronically are emailed directly to Ms. Tena Ward.
- Juniors & Junior Parents/Guardians: When registering for the ACT and SAT, it is very important to list Episcopal High School and the EHS CEEB Code 440561. This will allow the testing agencies to send EHS a copy of the score report, which allows the college counselors to fully support and effectively advise students throughout this process. Reminder, the April 2nd ACT Test has a February 25th registration deadline.
- Seniors - Are you planning to apply for financial aid in college? You can begin by creating your FSA ID here and then start completing your FAFSA. Some schools require the CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE (found at http://student.collegeboard.org/css-financial-aid-profile), which is available now. For detailed information, please visit our "Paying for College" tab in Counseling Connections.
More information and details can be found on our Counseling Connections page. |
