| Wednesday: Lunch-and-Learn with Katie Koestner This Wednesday, March 23, Episcopal High School invites all parents to a Lunch-and-Learn featuring Katie Koestner, national expert on healthy relationships and campus safety. In 1990, Koestner appeared on the cover of TIME Magazine as the first person in history to speak out publicly as a survivor of date rape. She has since educated more than 5 million students and parents on the topic of respect and healthy decision-making. She has also worked with the Department of Defense, the NCAA, MIT, the State Department, the Wharton School of Business, and many other major organizations. We hope you can join us for this important talk. This Lunch-and-Learn is presented by the Office of Diversity, Community, and Inclusion, the Dads Club, and the Parents Association. | Auction Luncheon Celebration and Photos Join us this Friday, March 25, at the home of Cara and Chad Michael, to celebrate the success of "Oh What a Knight!," and to find out who next year's Auction Chairs will be. | | Final Call for EHS Day of Service This Saturday, March 26, families are invited to join us at the Houston Food Bank for the inaugural EHS Day of Service for the Whole Family! We will be sorting and packaging food to help feed the hungry from 8:00 a.m.-noon. - Students should sign up through the HelperHelper app. Families, faculty, and staff members may sign up here. This year's event is limited to 100 participants and is sponsored by the students in the Service Achievement Program and SOS (Students of Service).

| College Counseling Announcements - Juniors Only: Do you need help with the Science section of the ACT? EHS ACT Science Prep Class w/John Flanagan is this Saturday, March 26th from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. in Anderson Lecture Hall. Juniors need to email jflanagan@ehshouston.org if they would like to register for the event.
- Parents / Guardians: Thank you for attending Admissions Testing 101 on 3/8 to listen to the college admissions testing update with guest speaker Adam Ingersoll, Co-Founder of Compass Education Group. If you were unable to attend, please view the program here.

- Parents / Guardians of the Class of 2023 - Before Junior Family Conferences can be scheduled, parents/guardians must complete a Brag Sheet. You will have the option to submit upon completion or to save and return later. Please be thoughtful and thorough in your responses as this will serve as the framework for the recommendation letter we compose for your child. Brag Sheets submitted electronically are emailed directly to Ms. Tena Ward. Email Ms. Tena Ward directly for your appointment.
- FOR ALL AP STUDENTS--AP Exams will resume the traditional (pre-pandemic) schedule in 2022. Exams will take place May 2-13. You can see the complete testing schedule and important notes in the AP Information section in Counseling Connections. AP exam registration has already been completed in the students' AP classes. The base fee for each AP exam costs $87. Any added exams will incur an additional $40 late order fee on top of the base fee for the exam. Canceled exams will incur a $40 cancellation fee. All fees for AP exams will be added to students' EHS accounts in spring.
- NACAC Virtual College Fairs: To register for a fair, select the fair in the below schedule and click the registration link in the pop-up. Students can sign up for free at www.nacacattend.org/fairs.
- Juniors & Junior Parents/Guardians: The May 7th SAT Test has an April 8th registration deadline. Be certain to include the EHS school code (440561) when registering for the exam.
- Seniors - Please be sure to let your college counselor know the results of your application decisions, including scholarship information. We want to celebrate with you and to help you through any disappointment you might be feeling. As a reminder, you are allowed five excused days for college visits.

Winter Season Athletic Awards Announced The EHS athletic pillar is pleased to announce our winter season SPC and team award winners. Softball Takes Third Place in Schulenburg The Knights made their annual trip to the Schulenburg Softball Invitational and finished third in a competitive field. Speech and Debate Team's Hours of Hard Work Pay Off EHS has 25 students on the team and eight to ten students that regularly compete. |
