| Parenting in Faith Program: May 4 Parents are invited to join the chaplains in the Benitez Chapel at 7:30 a.m. for a short Eucharist, coffee & donuts, and the Parenting in Faith discussion from 8:00-8:30 a.m. on May 4. This month, we will review the spiritual practices learned this year from our study of Presiding Bishop Michael Curry's Way of Love: Turn, Learn, Pray, Worship, Bless, Go, and Rest. - Students are welcome to join us for the Eucharist and donuts before heading to their first period classes. Parents may come and go as needed.
- Due to the discussion format of the program, Parenting in Faith meetings are not recorded.

| Annual Fund Challenge Gift Did you know the Annual Fund bridges the gap between the actual school budget and the revenue from tuition dollars? - If you have waited to make your gift to the 21-22 Annual Fund -- You are the key to helping the EHS Annual Fund unlock $10,000 before the end of the School Year! 100 new gifts will unlock $10,000 in challenge dollars.

| College Counseling Announcements - NACAC Virtual College Fairs: Today is the final virtual college fair for the month of April. Students can sign up for free at www.nacacattend.org/fairs.
- Seniors: Please be sure to let your college counselor know which college you have decided to attend. Seniors will need to commit to ONE school by May 1. We will be celebrating our seniors who are accepting scholarships during Wednesday's Awards Chapel in the Benitez Chapel. It is the students' responsibility to inform their college counselor of any scholarships. As always, please reach out to your college counselor if you have questions or concerns. Note - Only scholarships awarded by the institution a student plans to attend and/or community-based, outside scholarship awards will be announced at Chapel.
- Advanced Placement exams begin next week on May 2nd. It is a good idea for students who are taking the exam to eat a good breakfast and to dress in layers in case the testing site is chilly. For the AP schedule, please look here under AP Information.
- Juniors & Junior Parents/Guardians: The June 11th ACT has a May 6th registration deadline. Be certain to include the EHS school code (440561) when registering for the exam.
- Parents / Guardians: Thank you for attending Admissions Testing 101 on 3/8 to listen to the college admissions testing update with guest speaker Adam Ingersoll, Co-Founder of Compass Education Group. If you were unable to attend, please view the program here.
- Students/Parents/Guardians: Will SAT and ACT scores be required for admissions? by Dr. Jed Applerouth: MIT says yes, while several state university systems say maybe. [Read More]
- Do you want to compete in college sports? Join the NCAA Eligibility Center on Sunday, May 1 at 4:00 p.m. for a webinar for college-bound student-athletes and families. Learn about the latest initial-eligibility news, requirements you must meet to play sports on campus, and the best resources for you as you pursue your dreams of studying and competing at an NCAA Division I or II school. | Don't Forget to Check Lost and Found
Many uniforms, tennis shoes, t-shirts, and books are filling the bin at the school's Lost and Found. Please pick up items by May 20, or they will be donated to charity. You can locate the Lost and Found in Crain Hall of the Trotter Academics Building. |

| Knights Prep for SPC Championships For the first time in three years, the SPC championship tournaments return to Houston. Varsity Baseball Remains Undefeated in SPC Play The EHS Varsity Baseball team earned two SPC wins last week over Houston Christian and John Cooper and remain undefeated in conference play. Softball Moves to 2-0 in SPC Play The EHS softball team earned an impressive SPC win at John Cooper last Tuesday and move to 2-0 in conference play. |
