Dear EHS Parents, It is time for the start of a new and exciting school year. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as the new principal of Episcopal High School. Mr. Randolph has not left; he is now our new associate head of school and will be working with me to ensure I quickly learn the great traditions that exist here at EHS. In the short amount of time I have been at EHS, I have recalled the fond memories of when I attended high school, a place which holds a similar legacy and traditions as EHS. I look forward to meeting and getting to know all of our community members and students and to working with you and our other three pillar heads to ensure that your child receives the best high school experience possible. Please reach out to me if ever I can assist you, and I look forward to greeting you in person soon. Dr. Antonio Avalos |

| All Parents: Parent Permission Form for SOS Needed Welcome to a new year in the service & outreach program! Please watch for an email from the Rev. Beth Holden this Thursday with a link to a "General SOS Parent Permission Form" for the 2022-2023 school year. Your signature will indicate your permission for your child to participate in off-campus Students of Service (SOS) projects throughout this school year. This is a new protocol for us, and we do need a parent signature for all students. There will be additional permission forms sent later to parents of freshmen and seniors, specific to participation in the Freshman Service Project and Senior Outreach. To learn more about SOS, the Freshman Service Experience, Senior Outreach, and the Service Achievement Program, please visit the "Service and Outreach" link under the Religion tab on our school website. New this year: parents are invited to join the "Students of Service" Canvas page, where you'll find more detailed information about those same programs and upcoming service projects. We're gearing up for another great year of serving our community! Mark your calendars now for our February 4 (8:00a.m.-12:00p.m.) "EHS Day of Service" – when you're invited to join other EHS parents, siblings, students, faculty, and staff to serve Houston together at the Houston Food Bank! |
