Hello EHS Parents, This weekend, D.I.A. (Diversity in Action) hosted its annual Mix and Mingle. Students, parents, faculty/staff, and Board members congregated in the USC for the event. Director of Diversity, Community, and Inclusion, Wayne Jones warmly welcomed the attendees and shared the vision for the organization. D.I.A. faculty/staff sponsor Jess Adams followed and spoke passionately about the EHS mission. D.I.A. Steering Committee members, Mya Broughton (President) and Ethan Lahoti reflected on their time in D.I.A. and how the group supports the School's mission before breaking into some fun ice breakers. It was a beautiful event and an excellent way for the EHS family to show support in our community. Thank you to all who came. You will find more information about trips and the sign-up and selection process here. Families have until Tuesday September 13 by 11:59 p.m. to express strong intention for their child to attend a trip. To express intention, a parent must email the appropriate trip leader the name and grade level of the child. The parent email will be considered an informal commitment to attend the trip and pay the trip deposit, should the student have a spot on the trip roster. Families who require financial assistance and would like their child to attend a trip should reach out to Kimberley Pavalock in the Business Office as soon as possible. If you have specific questions about a trip, please contact the appropriate trip leader.
