Science Department

The Science Department at EHS actively encourages all students to address the many interesting questions which arise when we attempt to understand ourselves and the living physical world. To address these questions, students must develop a significant level of scientific literacy. This requires that each student must learn to think independently, to approach problems and tasks creatively and skillfully, and to participate actively in the scientific process through prediction, observation, analysis, debate, reassessment, and reinterpretation. Computers and calculators are integrated throughout the science curriculum as tools to gather, analyze, and present information.
