Service and Outreach

Preparing for meaningful lives in service to others

Community service puts faith into action, and it’s a significant part of who we are at Episcopal High School. Engaging in service helps us know our neighbors, see ourselves as part of a wider community, and understand our responsibility to the world in which we live. It nurtures our respect for the dignity and worth of every human being.

All Freshmen participate in the Freshman Service Experience, and all seniors engage in the two-week Senior Outreach Program, but between those two bookends, service is voluntary, and there are ample opportunities both to volunteer and to become significantly involved in service leadership. Students interested in taking a particularly focused dive into service can apply to the year-long Service Achievement Program, which includes elements of learning, leading, teaching, reflecting, and serving.
